At 14,264 feet above sea level, Longs Peak is among the tallest in the country. Charissa, Darius and I climbed it! The hike is over 14 miles. You have to start at 3AM because it takes 13 hours and there is bad weather almost every day around noon. We would have taken more pictures, but the hike is very demanding and in some places quite dangerous. As a result, we could not stop and pose as much as we would have liked. Moreover, it is dark a good part of the way up and by the time we came down we were caught in an electrical storm with lots of hail and rain. Good times!
